Bobe’s Pizza is a family operation with three generations in the pizza business. Larry, or Poppy, as the grandkids know him, has been in the business since 1955. He opened a
location in Lawrenceville in 1982 where his sons Brad and Brett worked until opening their own location in Olney, Illinois in 2002. In 2017 they opened their location in Mount Carmel, Illinois. Recently they opened their newest location in downtown Albion, Illinois in March of 2022. Growing their business to five locations in Vincennes, Mount Carmel, Olney, Lawrenceville, and Albion!
Now, the third generation is learning the craft. Cody, Joe and Allie Bobe work together managing all locations. Two of Larry’s other grandchildren are very involved as well. You might find Madison taking your order with her famous smile and Hoa whipping up and delivering mouthwatering pizza and breadsticks. Bobe’s Pizza is made from scratch and from a family with love, a tradition that they care deeply about! Order in Mt. Carmel for pickup or delivery.
Starting with two shops in Olney, Illinois the Hill family has grown Ginger Ale’s franchises to 11 locations in less than 18 months. The Ginger Ale’s Mt. Carmel location is joining stores in Effingham, Champaign County, Fairfield, Mattoon, Olney, Robinson, Lawrenceville, Lebanon, Illinois, and Terre Haute, Vincennes, and Washington, Indiana.
Founded in 2015, Ginger Ale’s offers more than 2.8 septillion handcrafted drink options including, sodas, teas, fresh ground specialty coffees and espressos, smoothies, frappes, and more. Boasting almost 80 homemade Flavor Shot options, they offer drinks such as Marshmallow Tea and Sugar-free Blue Raspberry Diet Mountain Dew. Ginger Ale’s drive-thru facilities also offer a range of breakfast foods, soft pretzels, nachos, and gourmet cookies.
